The Rap/ Rock/ Metal Project by Devon Wau

This track is an instrumental track for the moment. We haven't tried to write lyrics for it. The song rocks without lyrics. Maybe later it will have lyrics. The original idea came from Jerlin. He started banging out a beat on Fl Studio. I heard this and decided to add a bit of my flavor to it. Darwin was an inspiration. Telling me what sucked was his job. I cannot stop listening to the track. I think it's a magnet. I hope it becomes the worlds magnet.

This is my new song. I was inspired when my stepson Jerlin started banging out a beat on Fl Studio on my laptop. I started getting ideas right away. Of course it isn't easy to just come up with an idea. It just seem to flow afterward.

I got the idea to make it as hardcore as I could from listening to Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit.

I sat down and banged it out and enjoyed it. It is actually my favorite song right now. I cannot stop listening to it. Please enjoy and comment.

Creating Beats

Hi all, after so many years I am starting to create music again. I guess the inspiration was not there. I actually uploaded 3 beats to www.soundcloud.com. I am very excited. I was very curious as to what music would sound like coming off my laptop. It was shocking to hear the quality of the music. I had the software all installed on my system and just 3 weeks now I started using them. I got the inspiration from listening to lots of music. I listen to all genres of music. And I listen to the bad as well as the good. I do hope that I fall under the later.

Fl. Studio is my main studio. It is the most incredible piece of software I have ever witnessed.

I started working on a ballad last night. It took a lot of work just to get the piano part. I am happy to say I finally got it to work. Give me about a week and I will have it completed and hopefully I will have the confidence in this one to maybe shop it around. I have had this melody in my head for many years. I am talking as far back as 1992. It is still fresh in my mind and I was pleased when I heard it for the first time. I am using Native Instruments Alicia's Keys for the piano. I am not sure if it will be in the final mix when all is said and done. The drums I cannot decide on right now maybe I go with Toontrack's EZDrurmmer. I really don't want to spend too much time on drums. My bass will come from Spectrasonics Trilogy. And guitars will probably be from Orange Tree Samples Strawberry Electric Guitar.

This is Alicia's Keys inside of Kontakt 4 inside of Fl Studio 10.
